Paragliding

A paraglider is a fabric wing with no rigid parts. You sit in a harness below it and steer with brake lines. Pilots launch on foot from a hill or are towed up, and can stay up for hours in rising air. Everything packs into a backpack.

Course format

Course length, format and what's included vary from school to school. See each school's website, or ask them.
